"He...he thinks I'm an angel."
Almost throughout, as soon as I started sketching, right to laying down the last bits of colour, I was overcome with the warm fuzzies~ It's a feeling that I don't get very often while producing my works, and certainly not quite to this degree. It was a pleasure to make, and it's one of the few that I can't help but stare at for disproportionate lengths of time. It's true - there are some mistakes here and there, but the feeling I get when looking at it is something magical.

dodoki. He is someone I hold dear, and he has given me the strength to keep going over these last few months. When I look at this, I can't help but imagine myself right there, all warm and safe, wrapped up in his humungous arms (admittedly maybe a little too humungous, but anyway). I couldn't ask for anything more.
Making this picture was the best way I could think of saying 'thank you', for all of his help, love, and support. He really is something else. <3
This is something special to us, and it was made with love. We only ask that you appreciate it for what it is.

Thank you. =] I was listening to this on-and-off at the time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MeZSE9WLvBs
I think that helped a lot when trying to produce the atmosphere. If it were a touch slower, I think it'd fit perfectly.

Thank you. This is one of the rare occurrences where I finished the background first, as I knew exactly what mood, design, and colouring to go for before I'd even started sketching. I only wish that that would happen more often, as backgrounds are sometimes a stumbling block for me. :V
There is always something about your work that I can only affectionately describe as "adorbs" but this picture is something different. I could see the sentiment expressed in the description before I had read it. The seemingly exhausted little guy being carried by someone stronger than himself: being taken to what I can only assume is a more peaceful place than where they came. I've had similar experiences personally. There is definitely a bit of 'real life' that crept into this drawing. Thank you for sharing it.
And thank you! If I'm able to express my feelings through my art alone, and other people can pick up on them just by looking at it, without the need for explanation, then that makes me feel I've done my best work. This kind of comment tell me I've been able to do just that.
his is adorable and you can feel the emotion behind it, its wonderful :), but sadly when I looked at this all I could hear in my head was this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gv6b0CretuE, its that go the fok to sleep thing read by Samuel l Jackson XD
its nice having someone that u can feel secure, and brings all supp and just love you, this is a sweet piece, it seems that u feel like nobody can take out of his arms, and u can be peacefull trusting in him.
