Full digiart comission for kishnievrat portraying his characters Mud and Sergei in a nightly setting. Loved working on this piece, specially considering the refs he gave me, quite an interesting read!

thanks stu! i should get more sci-fi stuff done, i love working with tons of refs for hi-tech stuff :) i liked the atmosphere as well, just think i fell a bit short on the perspective itself, guess it could do with some tweaking.
as for the vehicle, i started with an armored vehicle in mind, then thought of those african-rebels-toyota-hiluxes and finally stuck to the idea of a small surveilance car, 'prolly a well-worn and battered french car or one of those old subaru outbacks. :D

A french car in post-apocalypse setting? Baaah! These would burn out after the first day! Only french car I approve are pre-1970 models. :D
This could be one of those Dacias, though... They were very cheap, and didn't fail too often. I had a Dacia Solenza once, and it was kinda okay. My friend has a Sandero, and it never failed on her, not once. Heard some nice stories about the Logan too. The story's logic also speaks to the Dacias, as they are top 2 brand by cars sold in Serbia for almost 5 years now. There's good probability some of them might survive the apocalypse.

Ohh, you should see some Peugeots like the 205 and the 405, some oldies still up and running in some extreme conditions. 405s are used as cabs in Iran, I think, and the 205... well, it can be seen almost anywhere, from Africa to the Middle East to everywhere else.
Though I agree Dacias are some tough fellas. Both Sandero and Logan are similar vehicles, so I can assure the sedan can endure some harsh treatment as well :3
(You know I'm totally including a Sandero in our next pic after that, aye? :D )
