So I have always had a fascination with dragons especial those from wow and anyway i decided that I am making a change to Kayllik in that he is a half dragon. His mother told him a lie about how she Immaculate Conceptioned herself with magic and rather Kaylliks father is a ancient dragon usually refered to as the First and mate to Enodia Reath Kaylliks mother.

They became estranged from each other in order to protect Kayllik being a half dragon from his fathers enemies. While Enodia is powerful in her own right she could not properly cloak her sons heritage and as such contacted her goddess Hecate who was the one who put a spell that sealed Kayllik's heritage to after his 25 birthday.

So anyway this is Kayllik's true form though that doesn't stop him from still being a eagle. After all a dragon of his size would stick out in our modern world. It also explains his shape shifting as well as his need to hoard things such as bean bag chairs sex dolls and other things as dragons need to have a hoard of something or another.
