It was so cold that even the huskies were wearing their ushankas.
If you are wondering what an ushanka is, I refer you to the wikipedia page en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ushanka They look funny, but they work very well and frankly look less foolish than most winter ear wear (I am looking at you earmuff wearers…)
Joey decided to try and get back to his russian roots by wearing some traditional winter headwear. Pretty sure he is tolerating me because I had just given him fluffy fleece blanket of his own (he had been 'borrowing' fluffy blankets for a few weeks to curl up on) so he could have more padding while curled up on the couch. No, he is not a spoiled rotten husky… not at all.

There is no seeming, it was part of a secret Soviet plan to dominate the world. Sell 'sleeper cell' dogs to the filthy capitalists, wait for breed to take hold, send signal via TV, bring about fall of capitalist empires. But, the signal was lost with the fall of the USSR so we are left with a bunch of fluffy attention whores and cuddle sluts.
