THAT'S SO FREAKING CUTE

and I've never really had issues drawing otter noses. Really, only sea otters have that silly nose shape. River otters' noses, while similar to their sea counterparts, are a lot more discreet and the longer "pointy" bit sits more horizontally on the nose. It ends up making their noses look more like the noses of other members of the weasel family, such as ferrets.

It also depends on the type of otter your drawing. Sea otters got a diamondish shaping, soom have that more squarish and others a triangle like.

Yeah, I was looking around at different otter types and river otters seem to have noses like this one. ...but, they're all super cute ^_^

Otters are adorable but have the hardest darn facial structure in the known universe I swear!
Something about those poochy muzzle-puffs and a sort-of-but-not-really flattened skull.............AAAARRRRRGGHHHH!
I have never drawn a convincing otter, never!

LOL! Yeah, I know what you mean. I don't know why, but when I started I thought, "Oh, an otter. They're cute and fuzzy. This will be a piece of cake!" ...noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I couldn't have been more wrong! It's just like you said, they have a very interesting anatomy...and the cutest little ears, ever! ^_^
