In a matter of seconds the orb explodes, cloaking me in this.. Dark mist.. This overwhelming… almost burning sensation fills my body with this uncontrollable rage and hatred for the world I live in, and all its occupants. I begin to hear this quite but sinister voice in my head “Ah, another foolish human looking g for riches..” The mist slowly starts to disappear… but where does it go I think to myself? I take a few more steps away from the alter. I hear the voice speak to me as I try to find a way out of this cave “its been long… too long since I’ve had a host!” My arms start to get heavy, the flow of blood from my scars has finally stopped. I took one hand and rubbed it over one of my scars.. It felt a little rough.. Almost like if it were covered in a layer of scales.. The muscles in my arms grew a little.. Raw power flowing through my arms. My fingers grew a little longer as the palms of my hands roughened up into thick scaly pads, my nails breaking away as long ebony claws grew from his fingertips. As I blink a few times I hear the same voice in my head “I think you’ll do fine!”
