Well, this one was done by a friend of mine named
JAH2000. He does really good line art and has quiet a few intresting pieces. Most on FA either go for cute or for porn, he dosent and ends up drwing some orignal pieces with a very unique feel.....GO VISIT HIM!!! Anyway, he decided to put out one of my lovely tanks for everyone to see. Very nice line work and great perspective work. To be honest hes finnaly tackeld one of the drwaing problems I've been having and thats what artics tank should look like. to be honest I think this is a perfect fit that to me looks very apealing. It's got elements of modern tanks without those extremly hard lines that are evedint on most tanks today. deffinatly a good fighting machine, deffinatly easy on teh eyes.
ok, now because I just cant help myself I thought I'd take a moment to sexplaine exactly what that stubby thing n the front is because it actully has a very intresting use. so for all non tank or militray furries pay attention. you see, every time a gun is shot theres a massive bang right? well The cause behind all of that loud noise isnt actully teh explosion taking place but its teh bullet reaching super sonic speeds. You see every time you hear that familiar crack of a gun shot its really just a mini shockwave from breaking teh soudn barrirer. now part of the noise comes form teh expanding gasses shooting out rather voilently so what that nice little bit on teh front is supposed to do is its supposed to try to channel the air out before it can really leave teh barrell in an atemp to both quiet teh gun a bit, surpress flash, and reduce recoil. It was a feature common among many tanks in early tank warfare but has been dropped due mostly to teh thining that "hey, its so close to the enemy and so loud they're gonna know where we are no matter what, lets just make more powerfull nad forget teh stealth. However, it still sees use in some artillary pieces since the gunnery crews dont like having their ear drums shatered on a daliy basis. Intresitn huh?
