Honestly I'd say that's a good attitude to keep in mind when undertaking drawing ( or art in general ). Have to remember that not everybody has the same tastes or likes the same things.
Shouldn't try to please everybody. Try instead to please yourself and if anybody else also happens to enjoy what you create, then that's a bonus!
Keep drawing and keep improving and if somebody says it sucks, don't let it get to you.
In the end that's all it boils down to. If you like drawing then draw!
