I just love painting thick fur. <3 Thicker it is, the more room it leaves for optical tricks and fun brushwork, and white fur is probably where I get the best out of oil paint because it's much easier to get the values right. I'm looking for a quick way to give the option of a colored/textured background for model sheets though.

Sometimes I fantasize about people seriously working on developing real, actual furries. Advanced genetic engineering, simulations, gene splicing, funding from morally dubious sources, the institute located in some country that doesn't forbid the research, possibly an island or some deep Asia/Africa.
