I often think if somebody from 50 years ago could time travel to today, they would be deeply disappointed by all the futuristic stuff we DON'T have, yet simultaneously crapping their pants over our flatscreen technology & smartphones &c. They wouldn't even recognize an iPhone as a PHONE...

haha yeah I didn't feel like trying to cram tiny iphone sort of UI stuff on the phone.

If you look at Bladerunner which is supposed to take place in 2019, I don't think we're going to be quite to the level of technology that was shown in the book/film yet.
