Ylvis is coming from the north?
Anyways I think I'll choose this way of magical communication over sending any day. I think that receiving a sending must be akward, staring into space while a disembodied voice speaks to you. And here you thought that all those years of therapy had worked. Also, imagine receiving a sending while someone is talking to you. That's irritating.

Hey, any technology sufficiently advanced is indistinguishable from magic, that's basically the nicer forms of cell phone.
Initially I figured the outside would be a catapult crew but I knew I was filching that idea, so I settled for just hint-of-army (it was apparently evil kingdom and dragon design motif day; apparently I also wanted to draw giants with really big noses). Then I noticed that I'd unintentionally referenced part of Dungeon Rubber, a really nerdy parody movie about playing D&D.
