Hey, just because I said I didn't like Mystic Force but did like Magiranger doesn't mean I can't like both sides of the ocean's version of the tale! Dekaranger is fun too, even if it is a bit silly for my tastes sometimes.
So, as many of you are aware, we recently learned that my long-haired rottweiler Shamus has cancer, and isn't projected to have more than a few months to go. We're all pretty broken up over it, but we're keeping him comfortable and we're enjoying the time we have left with him. Toren was willing to indulge me in seeing how rottie Jay would look as a long haired rottweiler, and I think it's really cute. I may make this a permanent change (shush, peanut gallery).
Contrary to what some people may think, rottweilers are not inherently violent or scary animals. They are big, and bred to be herders and protectors, and combined with poor handling and training that makes some scary situations, but give them the right home and environment and you will probably never find more lovable and wonderful furry members of the family, and this guy is no exception. He's the sweetest and most wonderful dog I've ever known, and he is also one of the cutest things ever. People wonder why I can resist Maxie when he's being cute? It's because he has NOTHING on my rottie's "kicked puppy" look. He's been an amazing ambassador for rottweilers, so friendly and playful and good with children and small animals, and he's really smart too. He's even helped someone with a lifelong fear of big dogs get over their fear. So, yeah. A wonderful member of the family. I'm gonna miss the big fuzzbutt.
Anyway, cute rottie puppy arts!

PS: If you can figure out why I used the Red SPD Rangers besides his guns and his ability to combine with a dog, you get a biscuit. And yes, there IS a reason.
