New Year, New Style, New Character Sheet.

I'm rather proud of the way this turned out, my style has advanced to something far less cartoony than before. I know his body seems a little weird (It feels like he kind of thins out towards the bottom), but I still really like it. His hair is now officially black, by the way. I decided it seemed more natural than the brown hair.

And...I had a lot more descriptions, but I don't feel like typing them all up again, so you're just going to have to suffice with a link to my piece on dA for the rest of it.

After I saw  Arland's version of Dimitri, my mind was blown away. I never thought Dimitri could look so cool ever! Then I compared it to my versions of himself and noticed some things that needed to be changed if I was going to advance as an artist. I took after Arland's prime example and shortened the muzzle greatly. One of my other friends also suggested using a softer brush, which would make the image look and feel more realistic. With a lot of anatomy study and patience I eventually came up with this.
