Lady Starless Reference Sheet INKS
I rarely share just inks here because I don't want to clutter ya'll's inboxes with all my random shit lol, but I was especially proud of how the inks came out on this one, so I figured I'd post them here for everyone instead of just privately showing the commissioner.

Interesting. Nice level of detail, especially the hair. </jealous> You know what I found out about linework? If you outline major objects with a thicker pen, it helps to add depth.
Actually, you did an incredible job with that hair. Did you draw it my hand or did you use French curves?

That's why the brush!
Most people who ink with a brush, is because they got hand tremors from inking with a pen, and the brush absorbed the tremors, and it then became a 'thing". seriously. it's a LOT easier on your hands and tendons too. It just takes a fair amount of practice to get good with it, but it's worth it.
Took me about a year and a half of practice to get good with it.
Anyone else out there, if you have problems with grip, hand tremors or carpal tunnel, please try inking with a slim, pointed water color brush (windsor newton series 7 number 3 or so) as this will encourage you to not grip so hard, and to draw with your arm.
