THEY'RE DONE AND THEY SMELL SUPER GOOD!
After months of prep and testing, my fursuit scent packs are ready! You could also totally use these for closets/drawers but who cares. Fursuit scents!
Previous mention and description: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12546867/
As a reminder, these are designed to give your suits a nice hint of a scent. It's not Axe Spray powerful and it won't cover up bacteria stink - they're mean to be fun and yummy additions. I've tested them in my own suit body and have given out testers and received great feedback!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THESE IN YOUR SUIT HEAD. That's where you breathe and see, and you don't need anything in there that may not let your mouth and eyes work at 100%.
This year's scents are:
• Vanilla
• Lavender
• Sandalwood
• Something Like Cologne
• Spicy Orange
• Fruity Goodness
• Winter Spices
Plus some combos for fun!
Since I'll be running around the con suiting and doing other things, please watch my Twitter account for alerts on when I'll be in the Artist Alley:

- Hmm, it's tricky to describe! Think of a sweet orange base with mixed pepper (mostly chili?) smells that tingles your nose a bit when you get a good whiff.
- I designed these for use when being hung/packed. These can actually be pretty sizable, so unless you're hiding a satchel inside the stuffing of something it'd be pretty uncomfortable to wear.
- That will depend on your suit and how it is stored. So far I've had feedback on a very padded suit (mine), an unpadded suit, and a partial. On my very padded suit I hang the satchel inside of it, so the scent lasts well on the chest but it doesn't really come through all of the padding so it's not strong while I'm walking about but smells great indoors. The second suit is Marbles! I'm unsure how she stores her suit, but it seems she got great response on the smell while out and about <3 The partial was kept in a tub and I've heard the smell stays for a good while. I imagine a well-set smell wouldn't last much longer than 30-45 minutes if the user is really active, likely longer if the user isn't gettin' sweaty and rubbing around. That's the nature of smells on fabric. :)
- I have yet to find out! I'm still using my FWA packet and it's not dead yet. ;) I actually gave someone a test packet for their suit tub a few months before FWA and as of June they were still doing well. I do think a packet kept in a tub will last longer than one out in the air just because a packet is less exposed in the tub.
- I actually was only planning on selling in the FWA Artist Alley (that's the only time I've sold these) but after these recent responses I'll look into selling online. I believe I sold these around $5 depending on size. They're not really fragile so I wouldn't need a customer to pay for a lot of padding, so the satchel alone shouldn't cost much to ship but I am not at all familiar with this kind of thing... I'll put up a journal on this. I do have an Etsy name reserved so I'll likely sell through there. :)

Sure thing! I'm also trying out a similar product this weekend, so if it goes well I'll also have it to offer. :)
I'm still not certain if I'll make it to MFF and probably won't sell there (it's more complicated of a Alley setup compared to FWA and it'll be my first time at MFF) so at the very latest I'll be selling at FWA2015.
