So originally this was meant to be done digitally on Paint Tool SAI as an experiment on working with a limited color palette (In this case, using only shades of blue and orange)
Buuuuut, since we got iPads at art college that came with two drawing apps which we had to buy tablet pens for, I decided to try and see if I can stomach working with the iPad
The result turned out pretty okay-ish, I should say. I realized only now that sizes of certain things like the skulls in the trees and the owl seem really off, but I wasn't able to work with layers, so eh.
But main reason I'm posting this here is because I also have a video of the process behind drawing the damn thing~

Hope you guys enjoy!

Glad you like it, dude! T'was very fun to experiment with the limited color palette.
We-e-ell, there's not really any meaning I had in mind when I came up with the idea, really. So I guess it's upended to the viewer's interpretation. It's not a vent pic, in case that's what you're wondering, lol. Just wanted to experiment with drawing a surreal and brooding horror scene based off of one of the more creepier Danzig songs I've heard. (BTW, if you're ever interested, do look up his music. I think it might suit your taste. Really awesome 80's Satanic Metal. The song this pic is based on is used in my latest speed-painting video.)
