A WIP for Eren from 進撃の巨人 (Shingeki no kyojin, or Attack on Titan). This is easily one of my favorite anime, and not just because it was the most popular anime of last year. The story is gripping and it throws your emotions everywhere (I cringed greatly whenever someone died)... and the look on Levi's face after his squad fought the Female Titan...

The animations are AMAZING. I've never seen anything like it from a TV show! The animation are MOVIE QUALITY. For the animations team to be able to pump out that quality of work in a week is simply breath-taking. Maybe it's because I want to be an animator when I grow up, but the animations are one of my favorite things about the show.

I also know 100% of the lyrics to the second ending theme, Great Escape by Cinema Staff. It remains the only Japanese song that I know all the words to.

Eren's mouth is a bitch. Sorry for my language, but it fits. I can't tell you how many times I had to restart it AND the jaw, and it still doesn't look right to me.

I never realized how hard muscles are to draw until I started this pic. I found myself relying heavily on scenes from the anime to get the muscles right.
