The first time I felt that I could draw not just for entertainment but to state something important.
It's my response to the school that banned 9-year-old boy from carrying his MLP backpack becouse he was bullied becouse of it.

Wow, I agree that's bull. You take care of the criminial-in-making, not the victim. Personally, not using it in public could be the kids and/or his family's decision (I lost way too many comics books at school because of idiots), not the school's.
They should supress the bullies' activities, not the kid's options.
And great drawing.

It's been 11 years since I was in high school (in a different country, no less), and yet it's not surprising at all to see that nothing has changed. School administration regularly considers punishing the victim to be the best course of action.
After all, to punish the bullies, they have to punish lots of people. To punish the victim, they only need to punish one person. The choice is obvious!

Unfortunately the school's hands are tied, making him bring a different backpack is unacceptable, I agree, but they can only punish bullies if they're caught in the act; otherwise the parents of said bullies would claim harassment. I say that because it's not a first time thing, they've done that sort of thing before somewhere, and other victims have reported they were picked on by them, of that much I'm certain.
