
Because I had to do this as an assignment for class and the timing was convenient.
I did this from scratch in Blender, using some photo refs of my head, even though it was supposed to be done in Maya. However, I can't stand using Maya as I believe it's a clunky, overpriced piece of shit. It may be a smooth, colorful, and generally accepted piece of shit, but so is Avril Lavigne.
The exercise was in edge looping for animation and general topology anyway, not an exercise in using a certain application. I exported it to a DXF when it was done so I could turn it in (shhhh, don't tell anyone!).
Also, I don't think this looks very much like me. Looks like my brother, though.
Low-poly model has 699 verts and 664 faces, 1 Catmull-Clark subdivision (pictured here) brings it to 2728 verts and 2656 faces.
