It's the pole placement that's throwing you off as you've brought it in a bit too far and had to adjust the arm and thus makes the painting look strange. Also I think it's more her left foot (on the right on the picture) which makes the leg akward because you made it wider... both feet actually. Kinda like a Disney spin on it with the larger head and feet.
Have you set any rules for yourself with the painting or are you allowed to crop and resize? because that will fix both head and feet for the most part. I suggest paying attention to the shadows of the knees and the light on the legs a tiny bit more as legs are one of those things that we all kind of overlook most of the time. Her right palm should be facing up more and showing less bicep and your shadows are ignoring her left hip atm.
You did a great job with this, were you color picking or going by eye? There's a benefit from both as the color picking, if you're paying attention to it closely lets you see colors in things that you wouldn't have even thought of using before and going by hand lets you fail over and over till you learn to see colors for what they really are and notice more subtle things quicker.
Hope this is helped somewhat, I'm very far from perfect but I try to help where i can.

thank you for the crit! I'll probably just go in and resize things with the tool (which I think is totally cheating, but I want to focus my energy on another one and start from black and white so I get all my values spot on). I think drawing furries all the time has given me this bad habit of large feet hahah. I was going by eye entirely. Really tried to squint and zoom out a lot but it still ended up turning out unsaturated which is a bad habit of mine. I think I will try colourpicking some of the values in the photo and swatching them nearby just so i can compare to see how close I was. :3 Thanks again!
I think that many of the things that artists have traditionally had trouble with (the hands for instance), you've done very well with. Most of the issues seem to be with minor scaling errors and maybe a slight shade of color or so, easily resolvable with an adjustment in Photoshop or SAI. Otherwise it looks quite awesome and very watercolor inspired.
This is a great piece. Honestly I would focus on the head and feet. The fingers holding the pole are getting a little strange but they're good. I think the jaw is a little too high but that can be fixed easily. The feet just need more of the footprint shape and the right one looks like its jutting out.
thought the color isnt exactly like the picture it's really great and cohesive.
Beautiful work. <333
