Then again.. it is a low lvl monster, and spells such death are capable of killing low lvl monsters instantly

You know those "Death" spells always bugged me in rpgs. I mean what's the point? They only work on really low lvl monsters and to be frank you could probably one hit kill the thing with a melee attack if you're high lvl enough to use a "Death" type spell anyway...

Well, there is an actual percentage value based on a few factors. One being your lvl and the monster lvl, as well as Intellect (or mana, or wisdom or such), Luck, and spell power (or intellect and all that wot that invole the powe of spells) Based on those factors, a percentage is made in which the game decides if the monster is instantly killed or not. True, it is rare for high lvl monsters to be effected, but there is still that last ditch pray to Allah chance that it will work. LEARN YOUR RPGS YOU PRIMATIVE BEING
