This is a color piece from some years back when Rosemary was going through her "Bigger and Fluffier than usual tail" era. She has since gotten it thinned down a bit for comfort reasons. Still she does seem to be quite happy with her new short, shiny, candy-like, red cocktail dress with matching boots and gloves.
Some of you have noticed and asked why some of my earlier piece have the signature Baron Engel "Blaster Raccoon" on them. In the 90's there was much concern and discussion about the topic of whether being a "Furry Artist" would hurt your career as a professional artist in other fields. A lot of people were going by pen names and some still do. I explored the idea of using a pen name until one day I finally got a chance to talk with a commercial illustrator and instructor of many decades. His opinion was that:
1. It mattered more how one conducted themselves and one's professionalism and connections that decided whether you got work or not.
2. Having a pen name for me was a waste of time since I had a style that he described as " Being recognizable on a dark night, over the horizon, with a blindfold on." In other words even if I signed my furry work differently everyone would know it was still my work. It would have been the worst kept secret since Neil Armstrong took a little walk on the moon!

I really like this outfit Rosemary's wearing! And the extra-floofy tail actually provides some nice framing....
One quibble - her limbs, especially her legs, seem to be too linear (literally, almost like a straight-edge), making them look a bit unnatural to my eye. This doesn't appear to be the case in your later works, so I'll assume this was part of the whole learning process. (I'd say "learning curve", but that'd be too awful a pun to pull out of the hat. )
