To the New World
Leblanc looked out the window with a sigh, what has the conflict against inferno cause? She held her staff and looked at the destroyed earth below and sighed “all this because of one being, he has gotten so powerful, I question if we can actually win this battle, let’s hope entering the chaos world and destroying Drazenon will set everything straight again.”
Leblanc’s thought was interrupted when Britt knocked on the door. “Excuse me Queen Leblanc, Cerin wanted me to tell you he needs to speak with you. Are you distressed?” he asked.
Leblanc just sighed and stood “nothing I can’t handle, I am just thinking about this long war we are having with Drazenon and Inferno, I just wish he did not switch to the darkness then he could come and stop Drazenon with ease, but having this happen is difficult.”
“Well I have faith that you will lead us to victory, because of all the things I have heard of you, you seem to be a powerful leader, a strong queen and know exactly what to do. And remember, if you ever need anything, I am here, don’t be afraid to ask and to confide in me, I may not be in the battle but I am here to help you with whatever you need.” Britt said as he watched Leblanc put her crown on the bed and walking past him.
“Thank you Britt.” Leblanc said and walked down the stairs and approached Cerins chambers. When she entered, she saw Inferno meditating in the middle of the room, a dark aura surrounding him. Leblanc watched him as he meditated, but jumped when he screamed and came back to the real world. Leblanc ran to him and kneeled next to him to see if he was alright.
“I may have a way to save Inferno and defeat Drazenon lady Leblanc, but it will be hard, and I will need everyone involved to make it work out well.” Cerin said in a hurry.
Leblanc nodded, but saw Cerin was uncertain of fighting the one he once called an apprentice. “Cerin, I have faith in you, and I will follow your plan until the end, get everything worked out and i'll be in my chambers.” She said and ascended the stairs once more.
Once in her room, she sat at the window again and began to softly sing to herself:
Leblanc: Many nights we prayed with no proof anyone could hear. In our hearts a hopeful song we could barely understood. Now we are not afraid although we know there’s much to fear. We were moving mountains long before we knew we could. There can be miracles, when you believe. Though hope is frail, it’s hard to kill. Who knows what miracles, you can achieve, when you believe. Somehow you will, you will when you believe.
In his room, Cerin was looking at his claws with a sad expression. “What do I do if my plan fails, I will only be showing how badly I failed, and I wish this wasn’t happening.” Cerin clutched his knees and rested his head in them, humming a song, the one similar to Leblanc’s’.
Cerin: In this time of fear when prayer so often proved in vain. Hope seems like the summer bird, to swiftly flown away. Yet now I’m standing here, my hearts so full, I can’t explain, seeking faith and speaking words I never thought I’d say. There can be miracles, when you believe. Though hope is frail, it’s hard to kill.
Cerin yawned and laid on his bed, shutting his eyes, hoping tomorrow will lead them into a better day and that everything will be stopped. After his thought, he fell into a deep sleep under his covers.
