So, this version just differs by having the background out of focus - going for a photographic look...

From the Trio story (an erotic/romantic/humorous graphic novel that i might get around to doing eventually...) - Dorrie and Tim work at a paint store. The story starts off with Dorrie's room mate Amy wrecking Dorrie's work overalls and bra in the wash – so Dorrie goes to work braless in overalls from a few years ago that are now rather tight. Tim asks her out – she accepts...but then gets angry that he asked her out because of her looking...well...Tim explains that he had wanted to ask her out for a long time but had been too nervous – but today a lot of the other guys were looking at her and saying they were going to, erm, “ask her out” - so he had to act first...Dorrie gets rather angrier and storms off. Tim sits at the desk for awhile feeling wretched that he blew it...

After a few minutes Dorrie comes back, sits on the desk, leans over and asks “So – What movie are we going to see?”

Tim and Dorrie are supposed to be a chipmunks, by the way...i didn't originally draw them with trad chipmunk patterning, but i sometimes draw them like that now...not sure which design might be final regarding that...

Done in a pseudo-photo style i used to aspire to and that i still use occasionally ...
