Indeed.. I have all four seasons on DVD.. a great series! I found the recent Hollywood remake to be a joke!

Cool. A few years back I saw a stunt version of it at the Klassix museum down in FL. This one in particular had an extra steering wheel sitting behind the driver seat to film the parts where Kitt rode around without a driver.

Yep! Thats how KITT drove himself.. the stunt director was driving him - in fact in some scenes of the show you can clearly see hands stretching through the empty driver seat.. its quite funny, actually LOL

Incidentally.. the stunt director damaged his neck (whiplash, I believe) during the Knight Rider series and rushed in for surgery on his neck.. you can still see the scars on his neck when you listen to his interview under the Knight Rider special features of the Season 1 DVD.

The new series is a fucking joke and is more of a "commercial" for a Ford car than it is about a TV series..

I refuse to even look at it and am surprised it hasn't been cancelled yet.. The only new TV series that I was even remotely interested in was Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - but I picked up that series on DVD because I missed key episodes when it aired lol

I hear that the new Knightrider series is at risk of being cancelled already after its first season, it was expected. :P

I love how they made such a big deal about David Hasselhoff being in the pilot episode of the new series.. and he appeared for less than 5 minutes at the ending of the episode.. and he looked like shit.. he looked wasted on drugs and alcohol.. and like he didn't even want to be there LOL!

Yeah.. I only watched the pilot of the new Knight Rider series and then determined that it would be hazardous to my health and my sanity to continue supporting and watching the series -- because it was utter trash lol

The orignal Knight Rider rocked so much. A great series. It's one of my favorites. Great KITT replica! The Trans Am kicks that Shelby/Mustang's tailgate!
