Ended up doodling these guys during my class today, and I thought it might be fun to make a small strip of them. :3
I don't know if Earl would really know the meaning of the word, but I can imagine Smooch doing something like that.
The comic "Mutts" is not my own, nor the characters, and they belong to the creator, Patrick McDonnel. His strips are really cute, btw~

Well, the idea was to try to keep them that way, despite the subject. You know how kids can hear weird words and begin to ask hard questions? Personally, I don't think it makes them any less "innoncent".
Besides, I wanted to somehow connect the comic with FA, and I think I've heard that word so many times that I don't even bother to count.

Well, sometimes you can't prevent hearing things (I for example, did know the meaning of a word or a few when I was a little kid, even tho I didn't ask). And the doggy is more surprised than embarassed anyway. I'd like to think that he'd act quite naturally, since he is still mostly an animal in a comic style, even after adding human-like features.
But I can understand it if connecting the consept with things like that is itself is a shock, since it happens to me all the time. x3 You wouldn't believe how I reacted to the first mature pokemon picture that was shown to me when I had only been thinking about them as plain cute critters.
