My recording of Prelude no 7 in A Major by Fréderic Chopin.
I am trying to work out doing sound. This was recorded with two mics close to the piano, panned semi-hard left and right, and two microphones at a distance panned hard left and right. The long distance mics had a little more bass than the close mics.
I am open to suggestions on how to better my recordings.
I am getting some air/hissing as you can probably hear and want to know if maybe someone knows why that is, what I might want to do differently. Also, when I bounced the audio into mp3, the volume was blasting each time, no matter how much I lowered the volume on the mixer board within Logic. I finally had to use a 3rd party converter to finally prevent this from happening. I'm looking for suggestions on sound quality/balance etc. and what I might be able to do differently next time I set up.
