I <3 her eyes and the shading has a lot of depth especially around the collar. Would you be offended by some honest critique? People have gotten offended when I just give it without asking .

thanks :3 haha, i think the collar's my favorite part, as silly as that is x3 and nope, critique's fine, i know it's got issues. i'm generally okay with critiques, as long as they actually are critiques and not just 'this part sucks.' x3

XD I try to avoid being mean about things and be constructive. This has a lot of good technical quality to it, IE the realistic shading and eyes are beautiful, but it's missing personality. A bit like a lifeless doll, I hope that's not putting it too bluntly : /. I've noticed some of your other work where this is apparent. You may want to study character expressions and practice with exaggerated sketches of your characters with various emotions. Your paints shouldn't just be realistic depictions of a character, they need to relay something that the viewer can relate to like emotion, circumstance, or appeal. I struggle with the balance between technical realism and stylized personality as well so don't feel bad.

yeah, i suck at expressions lol, i even commented on it to bunnybreaker when i was starting it x3 and it only gets worse when i'm trying to do nice coloring. and it doesn't help since i only really want to draw bunny lately, and she tends to hide her emotions. i'll get better eventually, though :3

I have trouble carrying expressions over from final sketch to shaded paint as well. It's amazing how even a small shift in the shape of the eye or mouth can change the overall character expression. Yeah it doesn't help you much to always draw a character that hides her emotions XP. Maybe try focusing on expressive characters for a while and worry less about the technical details in your paints. Once you get the hang of them then start back in with improving technical stuff. I'm not telling you what to do btw, just suggestions 8D. Also hope this isn't the reason you're not streaming tonight :/. Definitely not my intention to make you lose any confidence. I wouldn't be offering critique if I thought your art didn't have a lot of potential ;).
