oh, yah. well the prices look really good. like a sketch of just me and a miata. what would that be under. like i don't want an inked one. something like this mustang.
yah, i play the initial d game and well. while i can't seem to beat ryu[kickbuttsupergooddriverguy] on the game, i can beat it on the psp. so yah. thanks.

Yay for Mustangs, especially Shelbys. I've got a friend that owns a 65 Shelby GT-350R. I've been allowed to drive it a few times and I've been in it up to 160. Another friend's dad has a 07-80 Shelby GT-500. I came up to his house and he tossed me the keys and told me to have fun. Talk about the chance of a lifetime. MAN that car is fun. I love Shelby's. That picture looks awesome.
Cool.
I don't know if I could have a Mustang, because there'd always be someone to remind me that it's not the best. Even if I had a Shelby I'd get "ain't got as much torque as the Boss 302" or if I had the Boss 302 I'd get "ain't as refined as the Boss 429" and if I had a Boss 429 I'd hear "not so quick as a Shelby GT500 KR" and so on, about different trim levels, history, reliability, speed, power, etc. Anything I could buy would be a compromise in one way or another. With my current car, there was about 6 trim levels. I got the best, then supercharged the engine. Bosh. Instantly better than all the standard cars.
LOL, I hear ya on that. Thats why my 65 have the a 70 Mach I hood scoop, its got the Pony Interior (which wasn't available in the Fastback model for the rear seats) custom fit into it, its got the Shelby racing suspension, a 9" rear end with 3.89 gears and a Detroit Locker, and then a warmed up 289 up front with a 5 speed stick. I'm a big fan of the resto-modding of Mustangs as you can see.
The upgrade loop is vicious like that. I keep jumping up a notch on the Mustang chain when I swap for another one which is why I'm up to 11 that I've owned at one time or another. Each one being a notch above the last generally. I'm very happy with my 03 Cobra though. It's the car I really wanted in 03 but simply couldn't afford back then.
Nicely done picture. I had someone in a replica version chasing me out at Pacific Raceways a couple of summers ago. He was doing an admirable job in keeping up with my 03 Mach1.

I dig the replica jobs when they do the performance mods too. What were you running in the Mach 1 at the strip? I can't remember what the Saleen would run (its been that long) but I do know that I was evenly matched running an Acura NSX out at California Speedway because neither of us could get traction :P
I was running a road course. It surprised me that they hit me with a passing flag to let the 67 go bye. I asked him later in the pits if I was holding him up and he said it was taking everything he had just to keep up with me. Not sure why they hit me with the flag when I wasn't holding him up. *shrugs*
