Snappy title, eh? *rolls eyes*
The last of the three gifts
s0lar1x sketched for me.
The sketch was simply incredible.

My ham fisted method of inking doesn't really lend itself to such highly detailed works as this =S
I got incredibly frustrated whilst doing it...like trying to paint the Mona Lisa with finger paints.
Once the ink work was done I left it for, like, over a week.
However once I started colouring it I found it hard to stop. I got the idea of light dappling her as I inked it and I wasn't entirely sure I could pull it off, but I wanted to try, simply to do something different for once.
Not wholey convincing, but it's better than I expected.
If there's one aspect I think came out really well, it's the sword jewels. First time in a long time I've added bloom to purple highlights and got the colour right so it didn't come up pink.
Anyway, less yammering on from me. Enjoy =)

aww wow the colouring on this is really bloody awesome, that netting on her outfit must of been a bugger to do lol. You pulle dit off nicely though, the artist did a great job drawing keisha and you did an amazing job colouring it as Keisha looks really fab! great work <3
Actually the netting was one of the easiest bits. Make a circle shape with 1 pixel width pencil, then copy it and stick it next to the original...keep pasting more and more, making alayer of just these circles joined together. Then copy the lot, paste it where you want it, rotate if neccessary and erase the bits you don't want. I blurred it a little and turned the opacity down to remove some of the harshness.
Well if you mean the filter I applied, it was in photoshop under Filter>Artistic>Cutout.
If you mean the greenness that's done by making a new layer in photoshop, select the primary and secondary colours of your choice and going to Filter>Render>Clouds. This will cover the entire image, but go to the layer options in the Layers box (it will be a drop down menu with Normal on it by default) and change it from Normal to Colour or Hue depending on how vivid you want it to be, then change the opacity to bring the original colours out.

... That's stunning. O.o
Great use of broken light beams coming from the top there, and the colouring is as usual, awesome. The sword most of all catches my eye though, actually looks quite metallic and those jewels look great!
The artist did a great job drawing her, and you did a great job with the colouration. Give yourselves a pat on the back. xD
