Awawah... It looks marvelous!
I like the tree in the background, especially since it looks so white on black. That mixed with those "shine lines" (no idea how to call them) gives the drawing a lot of radiance, and in effect, makes it almost look like something divine.
I never knew that Xerneas only had this pointiness on only one "knee". (They're not actually knees, but oh well.)
It looks like you used a thicker pencil for this? Or does it just look like that due to the dark colors?

Thank you! I am glad you like it, thanks for the idea! I was tempted to try and anthro, but this idea of a sort of "holy image" came to me, so I went with it instead! I was also considering doing an MLP style one... But I thought this would be better to try first!

Actually, I have just discovered that was a mistake on my part! I misinterpreted the official artwork, checking Zel's pokedex, I see it is supposed to be the same on both knees!

I did, actually! I used an 8B--a very soft, very dark pencil-- and an HB--which is in the middle--for this and all the more recent Free Sketches... I like the look it gives! :>

Yep, that's the one I checked too when I saw it being pointy on only one side.
I was like "Huh? Was it really like that?" *checks* "Oh. Apparently it is."

This one actually looks really cool, and I like that difference in the pointiness, even if it isn't really there. If you're using the reference that happens to be hanging on my wall... I an see why you would. ((Just checked, it IS the one hanging on my wall xD))
