Set after an apocalyptic event, the story follows Shawn Mogensen, a character originally part of a ‘suicide squad’ of soldiers.

As far as I understand it this was a first attempt at a furry novel by the author, and it suffers more than a few issues relating to a freshman attempt. Most of my thoughts are contained within. I hope my comments were criticism without being critical.

The readers digest version is after having read the piece, I'm not really sure this counts as a furry novel. Additionally, the plot was a little difficult to follow, and the characters motives needed some additional development.

I was a little nervous honestly about posting this, given that I haven't really written myself in over a year, and that the first two (for a different author) I didn't ask the author if they wanted to preview the review, but in all cases I am as honest and fair as I think I can be, and with luck the author will appreciate my thoughts.
