do you think you'd be able to make an incense burner? either with a well to burn the incense inside or a totem like this with a well between the feet? cuz this is cool!!

I've done inside-the-sculpture incense burners before and it's not a terribly good idea to use Sculpey for them. BUT I could totally do a totem holding a well to put the incense in, though I would likely have to use a different material for that part - if you're using cone incense, it will completely fuck up the Sculpey once it burns down. I'll have to research and see what would work better as far as materials, but it's definitely do-able as far as sculpting it! :D

I'm honestly not comfortable sculpting much bigger than I do, at least not yet. Small is my schtick! Give me some time to practice with some slightly larger sculpts before then, haha.

Since it's still snowing here and doesn't feel like spring, I haven't really redone my alter for the season. Did however do some ritualistic stuff for the spring equinox, but once this arrives I will be rearranging things for this to fit in with the energy, and hopefully have some flowers by then? Or maybe it will just keep snowing till next winter.

It was really warm here for a week or two and then yesterday it snowed again, SO TIRED OF IT. I sang a few bird-related songs (most notably "The Lovesong of the Buzzard") to your totem as I painted it, btw.

Holy cow I echo the guy that said you're getting so much better with each sculpt because whooooaaaaa. This one would look badass as an addition to an incense burner. It just has such a good flow to it! The little plate at the bottom is what reminded me of one.

I was glad I got to do another sculpt with an offering plate (there's one on my personal totem so I can leave little flowers, and a bitty tankard so I can offer her drops of beer or whiskey!), I really like the idea of these totems being revered with little gifts! Thanks very much!
