
Far to many times when I see people make blinking icons they have even spacing between the frames and it makes it look VERY mechanical and awkward, so here's a simple tutorial so you can make blinking icons THE RIGHT WAY 8D~!
ALSO ZOMBIE EYES. Avoid the pupils disappearing while the character blinks! it's creepy looking!
I'm an animation student so this is what I'm familiar with :) Also this is based on animating on 24 frames per second. In traditional film animation you can only hold a frame either 1 or 2 frames, so typically to save time most animate on 2s unless it's a very fast movement that needs more in-betweens.
