There's a backstory on Gojiro's DA: That blue amulet stuck to her chest allows her to move (though her clothes crumble) and since she can beat the Medusa to a pulp whenever she wants to (or if she tries to petrify her pet pigeon), they're waiting for when said medusa can turn her back to flesh and blood.
