A little fun illustration that I finally finished.
Inspiration for this came from a few places. I sketched it during winter break when my best friend was visiting, we were listening to a lot of dreamy music that made me think of mythical creatures. Then I took Fish Biology and that's what made me want to finish this and add some important anatomical details to her tail. A good friend of mine draws amazing mermaids/nymphs too and we're talking about doing a huge mermaid painting together when she comes home (she's living in China right now). I've also been interested in the Mediterranean Sea lately. So all those things came together and inspired me to do this.
