A fanfic here written for Shakou.
Shakou is on a hunt for his family treasure when things don't go to plan and ends up in another world. He now must hunt down the treasure he just got as Sesshomaru has taken it. There will be balloon adventures and much more. Of course we all Shakou's luck and how it runs. I feel sorry for InuYasha already.
I haven't been active at all on here and wanted to post something. So here it is and enjoy.
Shakou and InuYasha’s Adventure 1
Shakou’s Lost Family Treasure
Chapter One
Shakou finds himself in Japan trying to escape enemy territory after
collecting a lost family treasure. A treasure with magical properties if in the wrong
hands could spell disaster. While trying to escape he runs and finds a sacred
shrine. He sees the well and jumps into it, not know that this well
would lead into a different world.
Meanwhile InuYasha is fighting off Sesshomaru. As the battle ensues,
Shakou emerges from the well. As he is climbing out of the well, InuYasha is
forced back into him. The impact was enough for Shakou lost the treasure he just
stole. It rolled on the ground and to Sesshomaru’s feet. Sesshomaru quickly
snatches it and bolts off.
InuYasha - “Ouch…What the heck did I hit?”
Shakou – “Oh my head…”
InuYasha turned around and looked and saw a black wolf with gray fur.
InuYasha – “You’re from that damn Koga Clan! He sent you here to steal my jewel
shards didn’t he!” he yelled.
“No! Wait! Koga Clan? I’m the great warrior Shakou….” Then he realizes his bag
feels lighter.
"Crap! It’s missing! Now where did it go! I couldn’t have lost it! It must be
around here or no it must have fallen out when I got hit by you.”
“Wait? What’s missing?” – InuYasha looking confused by the wolf’s reaction.
“A great magical item, if in the wrong hands could spell disaster.” – Shakou says
frantically.
“I bet Sesshomaru has it.” – InuYasha growls.
“I have to find that guy you were fighting.” – Shakou said in a hurry.
Shakou pulls out a black balloon and begins inflating it. Huffing and puffing away,
it got bigger and bigger. Until it was large enough to support his weight and give
him the lift he needed. As Shakou was finishing up:
“What is this thing?” – InuYasha asked poking at it.
“Don’t poke at it!” –Shakou exclaimed. “You have to be kidding me? You have
never seen a balloon before?”
InuYasha just shakes his head side to side.
Shakou - “It’s a way for me to travel by air, cover more distance and get a great
view of everything including my enemies.”
InuYasha- “Well you’re not leaving me behind! I need to catch Sesshomaru as
well!”
Shakou- “Okay.” Shakou pulls out a red balloon while holding the black one. He
ties the black one to the ground and inflates the red balloon for InuYasha. He has
InuYasha standing over the balloon before he ties it shut to make sure there’s
enough air in it. After a few more puffs it was good to go. He sealed
InuYasha’s balloon shut.
Shakou- “Now…umm… I don’t even know your name?”
“I’m InuYasha and don’t forget it!”
Shakou- “ InuYasha…Right. Now I have to tell you this. Be careful on the balloon.
If something sharp is to hit it, it’ll be a long way down to the ground.”
With that said InuYasha got on his balloon, Shakou untied his balloon from the
ground and they lifted off to begin the search.
Up in the sky it is a clear and beautiful day. Not a cloud in the sky and only
the sun shining on all the land. It was a clear view of the forest down below.
“This is like flying on Kirara’s back.” InuYasha said quietly to himself.
After searching for thirty minutes, off in the distance both Shakou and InuYasha
heard a faint buzzing noise.
Shakou- “Hey InuYasha do you hear that?”
InuYasha – “Yeah I do.”
InuYasha turns his head “Oh man… It’s Naraku’s poisonous insects.” He moaned.
“Well I guess we have no choice but to fight them.”
“Aerial Combat? This going to be tricky, just be careful and remember what I told
you.” Shakou warned InuYasha.
The insects flew towards the balloons. InuYasha and Shakou drew their swords.
One by one they kept fighting off the poisonous insects. The swarm however just
kept coming.
Shakou- “Damn! These things are persistent.” As he slice through another one
while keep his balance on the balloon.
InuYasha- “Yeah they are.” He grunted. As he tries to fend off another one he
slips. He lands on his butt straddling the balloon. Before InuYasha could get back
up, one of the insects strikes with his stinger.
“Oh Crap!” He shouted.
The stinger caused the balloon to “POP!”
InuYasha was now falling from the sky. However for some reason he was floating
higher than Shakou.
As he’s falling he sees Shakou’s balloon and reaches for it. He manages to grab
the end of the knot where Shakou tied off his balloon, just getting a piece to hang
on.
“BE CAREFUL!” Shakou yelled.
As InuYasha pulls himself up the knot comes undone. Thus causing the giant black
balloon to deflate and sending InuYasha and Shakou flying through the air.
Shakou- “YOU IDIOT! I told you to be careful.” He yelled being very displeased
that his balloon was deflating due to some accident that wasn’t his fault.
InuYasha – “This was your bright idea to use these things!” The half-demon yelled
back. You can see the red balloon shreds in his hair from when the balloon popped
on him.InuYasha and Shakou holding on to the balloon for dear life, when suddenly
InuYasha notice something happening.
InuYasha- “Hey Shakou is it me or is this thing getting soft and slowing down?”
Shakou- “It’s because we’re almost out of air. The air that’s escaping right now
from the balloon is what’s holding us up.”
InuYasha- “Can’t you retie it shut?!”
Shakou- “I’ve been trying to while balancing with one hand! But it’s nearly
impossible to tie a not with one hand available and moving at fast speeds!” He
yelled back.
As the balloon now loses more air it loses altitude and begins to descend.
InuYasha- “Oh Man! I don’t like this!”
The balloon gets smaller and smaller until there is no air left.
“AAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!” They both yelled.
Shakou sees the balloon float in front of him now in its un-inflated form. He tries
to grab it but can’t as it is out of reach.Luck would have it that there balloon
deflated over a river. Both Shakou and InuYasha splashed down in the river,
uninjured. They both emerged from the river drenched.
InuYasha- “That was a crazy ride. Now what?”
Shakou- “Well I’m out of balloons and we’re too far from the well to go get more.”
InuYasha – “Shakou before we crashed here I did pick up Sesshomaru’s trail and it
goes a long this river.”
Shakou- “Well I do have one item left that may get us there.” He smirked.
InuYasha looked over at Shakou in a puzzled look. “What does this wolf have
planned now?” He thought to himself.
