Oh dear god, I believe it.
When we lived in Holland, we had some pleasantly mild weather for a bit.
While speaking to our british friend, my mom said something along the lines of "This week has been really nice. I really cant wait for summer."
To which our frind just stared at her all dead srs and said "Hon, that week WAS summer."
