Colored Illustration from 'Off The Beaten Path', my newest novel project. If you're curious about the characters and would like to read the story, you can go here and read it from the beginning - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11578732
Characters pictured are Grant Wickham and Shivah, during a scene in Chapter 12.
I'd like to be able to flesh out more of the illustrations from this story, and may soon launch an Offbeater in order to do so (the adult version of a Kickstarter). If you'd be interested in backer perks, or just interested in supporting the project, keep an eye out.
In the mean time, I think a 'dawww is in order for me. I'm'a go and do that.

Funny thing is I felt similar about the position of the eyes. My guess is that a canine muzzle isn't really suited all that well to look down caringly on someone else like he does here, as it sorts of gets in the way. I feel that this anatomical inaccuracy is a concession that supports the mood of the pic.
I don't think so. Ever seen a wolf mother comforting her pup? ;) Also, you argument is that a muzzle isn't suited for what? Looking down? I think they can manage to do that ;)
I'm not a fan for finding excuses for something that's simply a mistake (a small one though), the perspectives aren't simply corresponding.
