I wanted to try something different with this comic.... hope you like! I will admit, it was only recently that I've come to realize crocs (with a few personal tweaks) make AWESOME predators!

No dude, there are very LARGE, real crocs in the Amazon basin. They are nown as Orinoco Crocodiles, and some are definately maneaters. There are NO alligators in the Amazon. In addition to true crocodiles, there are Caimans, which are a different crocodilian from both Alligators and Crocodiles. True alligators only occur in the U.S.A. and China. I have kept Alligators, Caimans and even a Nile Croc as pets over the years, an know what I am talking about.
Great series, and you did get it right about real crocas in the Amazon after all (see comment above). While your dragon comics are always great, this was a fun change of pace and a good job. The only critique might be that croc tongues are fixed to the bottome of the mouth and cannot loll like a dog's tongue, and their mouth's are more of a yellowish white than pink, but it is a comic. But yes, crocs are one of the few real predators alive today that can, and will swallow people whole, and have one of the most efficient digestive systems in the anial kingdom, too, completely dissolving every bone. And normally indigestible items like teeth, claws, shells, clothings, etc. remains in the stomach until ground away into nothing. Truth can be stranger than fiction too,, the huge Nile Croc Gustave, believed over 21 feet long, is said to have eaten over 300 people, and is still at large. Thanks for sharing! Hope we can see more croc vore, maybe even a new character for future comics. How about Gustave himself? He's pretty smart and locals think he is more deon than real animal. Normally hangs out in a protected park/nature reserve, and sneaks out unexpected when he wants to eat people. National Geographic tried to catch him and failed. He just broke the trap. There was even a movie....
Much appreciated! Crocs (and gators) have proved very cool to me - probably from watching too many nature shows.... and yes you noticed my personal tweaks to the mouth/tongue. X) Regardless, I think we'll be seeing more of this character.
One thing is for sure, now I HAVE to watch this movie about Gustave! :)
