Last Summer I read a book titled "Real Wolfmen" by Linda S. Godfrey which was a collection of accounts through recent history where folks had encountered what appeared to be wolves standing, walking and running on their hind legs. One thing in common with these close encounters of these creatures is that the witnesses felt overpowering fear when they saw these Crypto-canids, and that the creatures would often disappear as suddenly as they had appeared.
As I study these images more and more I get to wondering if two and a half million years ago early Humans might have been at this stage. When I was in College my Biology instructor mentioned that there was a theory of early hominids adapted the upright posture to help them carry things. (Like food and their young.) The wolf people I call the "Lycalli" are adept at walking on two legs and running on four, so I believe this posture wouldn't be all that infeasible. I especially like the image with the dog holding the cat. One of the things that sets the Lycalli apart from true wolves is that they show unusual compassion for other living creatures, and keep pets.
