St. Patrick's Day: Gettin' Hammered!
... So it's several days later than I planned on finishing it! Punctuality, pff what's that? I LAUGH in the face of punctuality! Hahaha! Hahaha! HAAHAHA. -hunches over sobbing- you guys I'm so sorry
Anyway, this! What better way to celebrate the holiday than by going out drinking with the guys? ... And then breaking the law by using Hammer Arm in a barfight...? I don't think that's in the festive spirit, Briar!
Probably not the best... But I think it's a successful attempt at an action scene! I enjoyed it, at least. I hope you do too!
I want to thank my friends
pawn,
kierou, and
alululu for their pokemon suggestions for the background characters, I had a lot of fun drawing these species for the first (and second, in Xatu's case) time! Though, I think Kecleon guy is my favorite... Alululu, you're a champion BD

Why do I have a funny feeling this is playing in the background https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc_TtATQPJk
Hey! There it is! Wow, this is certainly worth the wait! It looks... well, actually, first things first. Time to guess the species.
I actually know a lot of these!
Natu or maybe Xatu. No idea. That one Pokémon that changes forms. Kecleon. Chesnaught. Bronzong.
Now... The drawing... It looks incredible. It's so very dynamic! That detailed background, that stylistic sound effect and swipe effect. Those expressions, that angle.
There's so much chemistry between every element of this drawing that I'd be busy all night trying to point it all out. Instead, I hope you'll forgive me if I only point out key elements.
Of course there's the "centerpiece". Chesnaught and Bronzong. Goodness, it really looks like that would hurt. Those fists look solid, heavy and painful. The sound effect is hilarious and the use of four-leaf clovers is a nice touch.
The bronzong seems to have a typical Irish beard. Is this intentional or just a coincidence?
The bottles on top of the shelves seem a bit big. Compare it to the size of the characters in the background. I'm not saying it's bad. I mean, big bottles like that do exist, but I'm just making sure if they were intentionally that size or not.
Briar's expression... At first glance, it looked proportionately pissed off, but the more I look at it, the more it looks to be just annoyance. I am not sure why... Maybe I'm just looking at it for too long.
Did you use the typical "!" exclamation mark (when a trainer spots you and wants to battle) for Xatu in the background? That's inventive!
The one thing I have trouble with are the layers of the background. There's the wall. Then the cabinets. Then the bar with the characters behind / in front of it. But then... a fence? Stand-alone chairs?
This drawing does a lot to define Briar. I am actually looking forward to see more of her now!
There's a lot more I could say, but for now, I'll leave it at that.

Daww, thank you so much! That certainly makes me feel better, thank you a ton! <3
Wow, you got them nearly all right! The only one you missed was castform, and even that one you got correct in all but name! XD
sanfkljf Thank you! :'> I worked very hard on this, though I think I could have done a bit better with things like the bottles, the size of the glasses (the ones on the bottom shelves are far too big, though it can be passed off as them being mugs specifically for large customers like wailmers and the like), and I felt like the perspective was a bit wonky on the background characters, since they seemed to be on a much higher level than Briar and the unknown Bronzong. But, I thought that it visually looked better with them placed that way when I drew it... Though now, I wish I had made it make a little more sense. XD
It was a coincidence, I actually just drew the beardshape in a way that I thought was fun! Though, I did notice the fact afterwards XD
It's somewhat intentional, I thought this face suited her more than the angry one I had initially drawn! I suppose she's just the type to be merely annoyed, even in a fight!
I based the bar layout on a few interesting photos I found on google, I really liked the way they had a fence to separate the eating area, and the bar area! I thought it would break up the image nicely: making it easily to color evenly, and also adding some nice visual interest!
Aww, yay! I'm really glad to hear that, thank you! I hope I can continue to deliver with her story, I want it to be a good one! (Of course, how many people don't want their stories to be good ones? XD

...Actually, I missed... Geodude, judging by the tags.
I did notice the weird perspective, but it doesn't take away from the drawing at all because, as you said, it looks visually better with them placed this way. It puts the background characters, Briar and the punch all in the vertical middle of the drawing.
I should've known Briar's expression was intentional. You've never really done expressions wrong.
The ones who wouldn't want their stories to be good are... well... Maybe people who write in parody or satire? But even they want their stories to be good parody/satire, so...
