Here we have an 18 inch Golden island fox (Urocyon littoralis) with a large Bourbon turkey feather and large wild Merriam’s turkey feather, a handcut 'blue snowflake' agate arrowhead, one wild coyote tooth, some hand-collected periwinkle shells whose natural coloration compliments the tail rather well, north American porcupine quill spacers, and plenty of sterling silver in the form of fluted beads and wiring. The tail has a metal snap-clip for attaching to a purse, backpack or fursuit.
The tail includes a hand-wired matching ear cuff with a single hackle feather from a North American timber grouse. :)
$45 shipped. The fox tail was wild-caught on a free range/fair chase hunt that did not employ baits, traps, dogs or poisons; the fox was harvested on Catalina Island early this year and was legally taken. The rest of the pelt as well as the claws were used as part of a ceremonial garment for a member of a local Chippewa tribe. Sewing done with sinew. Deboned and garment tanned to softness without odor. All wildlife laws apply. Your order will include a detailed description printout of the species and materials used in your item. :) Note me if interested.
Additional photos can be seen below, including the matching ear cuff.
