Yayyy! A new colored piece! *dances happy stuff*
Burgeiss is a new character of mine from a story I have tentatively named, "Souls of Bazasht". Burgeiss is, as best I can describe, perhaps like what one might consider a dark Valkyrie. She is a loyal servant to her master, the shrouded god, Bazasht, whose once great dominion over the mortal realm has become much reduced. In his reduced status, Bazasht has resolved himself to devouring the souls of mortals from the wretched, unkempt realm of the godless masses. This, however, will not abide for Bazasht any longer.
There are rules amongst the gods that are not to be broken when it concerns the mortal realm, Mosgairne, and the acquisition of souls and faith - both sources of power for a god. Bazasht, however, can no longer abide by these rules in order to sustain his own godhood. In his desperation, Bazasht has elected his most loyal servant, Burgeiss, to enter the mortal realm and scour the land for delicate, easily manipulatable mortals and bring them to the faith by whatever means. This will ensure Bazasht's continued survival as a deity and, perhaps, even expand his dominion. If, of course, Burgeiss cannot sway the hearts of the mortals she encounters to the faith of her master, she has her master's permission to send the mortal's soul on its transmigration to Bazasht. A petty substitute for faith, but sustenance must be provided.
Hope you enjoy and look forward to the coming of Bazasht soon! =D
