Tanner was a young cat growing up in the city, As he became of age, he went and joined the army in hopes of coming back home a war hero. He quickly rose through the ranks and became one of the most elite soldiers. Tanner was soon contacted by a secret organization known as DrakeHunters(title still pending), The feline warrior was train in the arts of magic in order to combat their enemy,the Dragons. He was told that dragons are bloodthirsty monsters, wanting to uptake the land and make the dragons the new rules of the land. It was there job to stop them. Tanner used his newly learn earth based magic and his trusty pistols to combat the dragons. he fought many battles and always came victorious. but soon he realized that the dragons may not be their enemy at all. The dragons seemed like normal people with families and friends just like them. They never were attacked by the dragons ethier, they always attacked first. There was never a recorded dragon attack, instead their true plane was to just wipe dragons off the planet in fear of what they "might" do. That was it, he put his foot down and refused to take part in this cruel act any longer, and was then branded a trador. Tanner's sentience was exaction, he was thrown into a cell to await his death. But little he realized he was about to met his savior. Kira was caught and tossed into the cell next to him, where together they busted out of the cell and made there escape.
Ok i know this is a really shitty explanation for this background story but i made it up on the spot and i will most likely rewrite this later. but this is just the basics of tanner's background story and the picture is him making his escape vwv;
I hope to draw more of tanner soon!

Duel Wielding SOCOM pistols? A little much for a gun that even the big burly white dudes in the Navy SEALs find large and unwieldy when using both hands.
I mean, I've actually handled a few and they're ungodly massive guns, only matched by hunting revolvers and the even more ridiculously unwieldy Desert Eagle.
I just don't get the fascination with equipping a character with guns too big for them, just to make them seem badass. I mean, they did it with Solid Snake but it made more sense in the context, given it wound up being his primary weapon, and the SOCOM is really meant for that role.
What would make more sense to Dual wield would be something smaller and easily managed, with a high capacity magazine but a small cartridge. Like, say, a Vz.82. http://sailorcurt.com/wp-content/up.....3/IMG_2096.jpg

Well everyone liked the way the SOCOM looked, it just wound up not being as good as it looked.
Well, that's not fair, according to ridiculously stringent standards applied to it's selection it actually came out pretty well. It was highly accurate, reliable, well put together and had an amazing capacity for a .45. Not to mention the silencer that was designed for it was superb, and the LAM worked pretty well by all accounts.
The problem was that, while it's base stats were amazing, that doesn't necessarily make a side arm anyone wants to carry. Fitting out all that junk made it huge, to the point where, fully loaded and rigged, with two spare mags, the whole thing weighed as much as an unloaded MP5. Compared to a normal pistol, it's great, but compared to a submachine gun it sucks in every way.
Turns out even Navy SEALS don't want to carry a big honking gun that, ideally, they never actually use. So they just went back to 1911's, the safety blanket of military side arms.
Course the dual SOCOMS get really funny when you realize that, being an H&K pistol that's been out of production a while, each Mark 23 (the civilian version) costs around $2,300 dollars. That's $4,600 dollars worth of pistol he's throwing around there. For that much you could buy a SCAR, one of the more expensive rifles on the market, and still have money left over to buy a SIG P210, one of the more expensive auto pistols money can buy.
