So yeah... I've bee having a very stressful time at work this last week or so, and a big part of the problem has been this damn printer. Jams every 3-7 pages and takes almost a minute to clear each jam and resume printing. This might not sound like that much of a problem, but when you've got about 600 copies that need to be printed by a hard deadline... and you had 800 the day before, and 700 the day before that, and 750 the day before THAT... well... you get the picture.
Three visits from the serviceman in the last 3 weeks have yielded no results, so they finally brought in the "high priest of Xerox" (as he called himself) from out of state to find and diagnose the problem. He found the flaw, but now we have to wait for the replacement part to come in. But needless to say, for the last week or so, I've been 80% print shop guy and 20% graphic designer, which is totally bass-ackwards and not what I'm getting paid to do.

oh god how i felt this feeling earlier this week with my printer/scanner/copier/fax...thing was on the fecking blink ever since my dad killed the power to my room by fucking with the fuse box in the basement. I chewed him out and his only reply was, "how did I kill the power to your room when I didn't even touch the wire or fuse for it?"...seriously...HE WAS MESSING WITH THE FUSE BOX ITSELF X( oh well i got the bloody thing working again...just needed to get the bugs worked out of it's system...coulda used a Netnavi (rockman.exe thing) to help though :P
