Baby gator hiding among the plants that grow atop the water. Very easy to miss if you aren't looking for them; they blend in surprisingly well. Wish I could wade in and pick them up, but there is a much larger one somewhere... lurking... she might have issue with that; that is who you must first convince you are friend.

I know some places it is not, but it is definitely spring here (when there isn't the random every 4th or 5th day a mini cold front comes through). Weather has NO clue what it wants since Thanksgiving... 30s and freezing one day, 70s a couple of days later. Starting to see flowers come up, so I'm hoping the warm is here. Save those cold fronts for July when we -really- need them.
