I went the opposite of the regular way of understanding the meaning of the blue stocking lady. Usually it's a very shy and bookworm not so young chick. I tried to go from the fact that she acts not very feminine, and turned her into a rebel corsair but still a woman somewhere deep inside. A white ribbon on her arm shows that she's a virgin and a bride of this blue bearded mutton-head.. I mean goat!
