Quixote
As twilight falls upon the inner city, a shadow moves through the allies, and across the roof tops. Beady eyes takes in his target, and he wait for the right moment to act. A golden treasure awaits the bold thief who seeks it... Cheese! Quixote cases his next target, for the perfect opportunity to strike.
This was a wonderful challenge. The angle, the lighting, the color contrasts, etc. I wanted to get it done in a week and a half at most, but took two and a half weeks instead... *Shrug* I am very pleased with the photo of this one, it is near spot on.

I wanna say about 80+ hours, not including the multiple proofs and pre-sketches.
This one had a rough start, and I had to do the arduous process of drawing it out over and over till I got both the pose and composition I was satisfied with. Then there were several anatomy issues I had to deal with because of my own shortcomings. The final sketch took me a week to get to: http://stickypawz.timduru.org/Art/01QuixWIP3.htm

I have 3 I am working on, and would like to get those out of the way before taking any more, however I am almost always open for large scale commissions (16" x 20" and up) as stated here: http://stickypawz.timduru.org/SPStore.htm
But if your not willing to drop that much green, be patient, and keep an eye out here, on FB, and/or on that link I just shared I will be taking more soon after I finish this batch. Always got bills to pay *Sigh*
