I know Novel believe me I know, the problems of hate, fear and intolerance have not left the human race. It's hate and intolerance that give rise to things like this, and unfortunately give perfect breeding grounds to such groups as The Nazis for example.

One thing that most people do with hate related crimes is putting a restraining order on the family. It's not hard, all you have to do is justify it to a court, which is easy when she's undergone assault. If you wanna move on and you want the family to move on, it's easier to just make them stay away from you. It lets you move on, it lets them move on, and if they don't want to, there are legal ramifications for that.

I am in full agreement with you on this. I don't know what I could add that you haven't already mentioned. But Zaxard had her life practically ruined from this and shouldn't have had this happen to her.

Just what do these people think they can accomplish by chewing out someone who they know absolutely nothing of, save the fact that they put their relative away for a crime that should have instantly registered as heinous, and in broad daylight, no less? I just hope they realize what hateful asses they were being if/when they find out all the details of the reasons behind their relatives' arrests, because even though I don't personally know zax, I can sympathize. It's sick how the family member(s) of the perpetrators felt entitled to bitch out someone their relative(s) attacked and put in the hospital.
